Atlanta Dogwood Festival




March 2-24 Sponsored by the Atlanta Preservation Center, the event includes tours of Atlanta’s historic sites like the Fox Theatre and Sweet Auburn neighborhood as well as lectures on current historic preservation and urban renewal efforts.

April 12-14 This family-friendly festival in Piedmont Park includes a nationally renowned artist market with sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography and more.

April 19-21 Sponsored by Atlanta’s home-grown brewer, this three day festival includes a 5K, artist market, and concert series featuring headliners Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, the Avett Brothers and Widespread Panic.

ATLANTA FILM FESTIVAL April 4-14 Discover over 200 new independent, international, animated, documentary and short films and attend over 40 panels and talks that dive into the world of cinema at this 10-day event, one of only two dozen Academy Award-qualifying festivals in the country.

GEORGIA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL April 14-June 3 Travel back to 16th century England courtesy of this 32-acre village in Fairburn, filled with over 150 artisan craft shops, 10 entertainment stages, pubs, carnival games, and all the giant roasted turkey legs you can eat.

INMAN PARK FESTIVAL April 26-28 Located in a historic neighborhood considered Atlanta’s first suburb, this festival includes can’t-miss activities like the Tour of Homes and the city’s most eclectic parade, plus children’s activities and an artist market.
