Dominican Bachata was declared by The UNESCO, in 2019, as an intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a great honor for the Dominicans.

Guananico in Puerto Plata, is considered to be the place where Merengue Típico was borned, which originally was Only played with three instruments: guira, accordion and drums.
The creativity of the Dominican people is manifested by the variety of art crafting using the most peculiar elements, like: Coconut, glass, fabric, clay, recycled paper and plastic bags.
Amber and Larimar are the most used stones in Puerto Plata for artisan jewelry. Shop for rings, necklaces, bracelets, pins and other similar articles of your preference.
