The project is still in design development, this is just some process work presented for Mid Review. This years design studio we were tasked to design a modern contemporary museum in Finland- in collaboration with Peter MacKeith and Studio Gang.

This sailike finnish architecture was designed to create a place for community engagement, celebrate finnish landscape by maximizing the green space of the site, and amplify views/connection to the harbor. In order to encourage pedestrain flow to our site, we incorporated an immersive outdoor art gallery, we manipulated the harbor edge so that it is a continuation of the boardwalk coming from the south. One main goal for the project after visiting with locals, is to not take away the view and access to the harbor but instead open up the site and allow this to be a place of gathering .
