Cuteness seems to be in unlimited supplies from major retailers to collectible statues. Price is all relative. Think $30 for a plush sounds like a lot? How about $4,000 for an action figure? Everything from tablecloths to wooden dice caught my kids’ eyes.

The continued exclusives domination of Funko was very prevalent in 2018. You’d be hard-pressed to not find a collector toting a giant bag of Pops they waited hours for in line to get after getting their time by waiting online. It’s Funko’s world, we all just collect in it.

Their top exclusives were the BLACK PANTHER OKOYE in the red dress with removable wig, the Pop! Rides PIZZA PLANET truck with Buzz Lightyear, and the Pop! Justice League 2-pack with FLASH and SUPERMAN racing. In the more articulated action figure line, the MARRIED WITH CHILDREN 4-pack proved to be a fun hit.

Another exclusives destination was the Hallmark booth where they offered an exclusive IRON GIANT holiday ornament as well as a BOBA FETT™ itty bittys plush in Kenner-style blister-card packaging.

The Marvel booth had an exclusive KORG & MIEK plush. I mean who wouldn't want a plush Taika Waititi. The Reed Pop booth had my favorite plush of the entire convention in a Spiderverse 12” SPIDER-HAM.

Super7’s exclusive offerings were highlighted by CYBORG OPTIMUS PRIME (see through and light up all in one) as well as their preview of the SHE-RA and CATRA figures based on the new Netflix series.
