NEWS

IN BRIEF ELEVATE ORGANISERS POSTPONE EVENT UNTIL 2022 Organisers of the annual Elevate show, which takes place at London’s ExCel venue, have announced that due to the delayed easing of the final stage of restrictions, their 2021 edition which was scheduled to take place in September, will now run on the 15 and 16 of June 2022. A recent communication from Elevate stated: “As event organisers, our role is to create a safe, successful and well thought-out event for the sectors we serve, and it is with this in mind we have decided to give the Physical Activity, Health and Performance Sectors time to regroup and recover fully before hosting the industry’s premier annual event again.”

ANNOUNCEMENT MADE FOR SIXTH HOLIDAY VILLAGE Center Parcs has announced that it has identified a site for its sixth UK holiday village and have secured an option agreement to acquire privately owned woodland at Oldhouse Warren in Worth, near Crawley, West Sussex. Center Parcs will now undertake rigorous site surveys and pre-planning works to ensure the woodland meets the specific requirements of a Center Parcs village, as well as carrying out a programme of community engagement with a view to submitting a planning application to the local authority in due course. In line with the other Center Parcs villages, it is intended that the site will include lodges, a range of indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a Subtropical Swimming Paradise and an Aqua Sana Spa. The development is expected to cost between £350m and £400m and create approximately 1,500 permanent local jobs once operational and a further 1,000 jobs during construction.

NIVEKO Provides The Perfect Package For Its Partners Having established partners across Europe, NIVEKO pools are now available for purchase by customers in 18 countries. Each trusted partner goes into great detail advising clients on the options for their dream configuration, and subsequently install and commission the pool. In order to provide them with the best possible training and information about the products that they sell, the company’s partners are always invited to NIVEKO’s headquarters, located in the Czech Republic. There, they are given thorough training about the company itself, the wide range of products it offers, technical information, including a detailed description of the product, its properties, configuration options and installation method, and, last but not least, marketing support. The visit always includes an excursion to the company’s production premises, where partners can see for themselves the entire process of a pool being manufactured. There, they are given a demonstration of the company’s cutting-edge technologies and automated processes, and also

have the chance to see the great amount of human involvement that goes into each pool. However, NIVEKO’s support for its partners does not end there. Each receives a free marketing package to promote sales. Assisting in the first installation of a pool is a NIVEKO Sales Manager, who oversees the project to ensure everything runs smoothly. As a result, new partners gain trust and important experience for subsequent installations. In the event of any queries, the partner may contact a relevant NIVEKO Sales Manager and there is also a special technical support line to call too. Marketing support for partners is provided by allocated marketing managers, whom partners can contact for assistance with both on and offline promotions. It goes without saying that a broad range of direct marketing support is available, from catalogues through to samples of pool walls. NIVEKO s.r.o. +420 572 693 246 www.niveko-pools.com
