TWO MATAWAN OFFICERS PROMOTED TO SERGEANT
of Sergeant at the Borough of Matawan’s March 7th Council Meeting.
Sgt. Borsari began his law enforcement career in 2006 and has been with the Matawan Police Department since 2012. While serving as a Patrolman, he became a member of the Advanced Services Unit (ASU) before being assigned to the Detective Division. Borsari returned to the Patrol Division as a Senior Patrolman and Field Training Officer (FTO) and currently serves as an Active Threat Instructor for the Bayshore Task Force Training Unit.

Sgt. Brooks began his law enforcement career in 2011 and attended the 38th Special Law Enforcement class at Monmouth County Police Academy in 2012, where he graduated earning the Marksmanship Award, Physical Training Award, and the Outstanding Trainee Award. He has been with the Matawan Police Department since 2013 and currently serves as the supervising range instructor, taser instructor, and the departments’ resiliency officer.
