Ingredients

9 green bananas

¼ cup (1 cupped handful) peanut butter

1 tablespoon (1 full thumb) fat or oil

Iodized salt to taste

4 ½ cups (4 and ½ fists) of clean water

Clean cooking area, cooking bowls, and utensils with soap and clean water. Wash hands with soap and clean, running water. Wash bananas.

Peel bananas and put into a pot. Add iodized salt and all the clean water and bring to boil.

Cook the bananas until you can easily pierce them with a fork.

Add the peanut butter and oil. Mash well.

Remove from the heat. Let cool before serving so you do not burn your baby’s mouth.

Wash your hands and your child’s hands with soap and clean water before feeding your child.
