Growth . Leadership .

“AMSA has been crucial in my professional career, a clear change and a unique support in my life. I have been fortunate to have the support of many people throughout my life, but never had I felt so sheltered, cared for and blessed like having the opportunity to participate in the AMSA programs. It was after my participation in the 2018 OMI Seminar on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in Salzburg, Austria, that today we have a very strong relationship with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

It is thanks to AMSA and the strong relationship we have constructed with CHOP, specifically with the division of Developmental Pediatrics, that today we have online sessions to exchange management of patient experiences, significantly enriching our knowledge. AMSA has definitely opened an incredible network of connections in my professional career”.

“The exceptional opportunity to study the SQIL 2022 Program from Harvard Medical School has given me the power to try to change those things in the healthcare system that, although we know don’t work, don’t change. It has given me the power to have a positive impact for my country from my work area, in the hospital where I work, for the community that I live in, for the university where I set an example for my students, among others. The tireless work of AMSA in Mexico, has given me the power to continue carrying out my vocation to serve and the power to convince others that the changes that we need can be achieved if we all work together”.
