Josh Harris

Marie Bitetti After graduating from Brown University with a BA in English Literature, Marie spent two years with the United States Peace Corps in Morocco teaching English to high school students. She then obtained a joint master’s degree in Business and International Affairs from Columbia University. Marie spent over a decade as an investment banker working at Citicorp and then at Bankers Trust. She retired from Bankers Trust as Managing Director and Head of Emerging Market Sales. Since retiring from finance, Marie has worked in a variety of volunteer capacities. At Allen-Stevenson she has worked on the Capital Campaign; as a Class Representative; as Co-Chair of Community Service; as Chair of the Hospitality Committee; and in other volunteer positions. She has been on the PA Executive Board for three years as Corresponding Secretary, Vice-President and currently as President. Marie is married to Sandip Sen, Global Head of Alternative Energy at Citigroup. They have four children: Sam, a ninth grader at Trinity School who spent Kindergarten through Eighth Grade at Allen-Stevenson; Nick, a seventh grader at Allen-Stevenson; Serena and Lillian attend the Town School and are in Fifth and First Grades respectively.

Dang Phan Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Dang immigrated to the United States in 1975 at the end of the Vietnam War. His family settled in New England where he attended The Loomis-Chaffee School. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School. In the last 25 years, Dang has pursued a career in finance, first in investment banking and then private equity, at Goldman Sachs, Baring Brothers, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Soros Fund Management. He has helped to build three successful real estate investment businesses and currently serves as a managing partner of Grove International Partners, an independent global real estate private equity firm. Dang is married to Doan-Trang (“Suzy”) Nguyen, an interior designer and president of her own firm, Aura New York. Their son, Revel, is currently in the Second Grade at Allen–Stevenson. Dang also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Loomis-Chaffee School and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. His interests include spending time with his family, supporting education and community, political economy, policy and politics, baseball, skiing, playing chess, tennis, and golf.

Josh is a Senior Managing Director of Apollo Global Management, LLC, and Managing Partner of Apollo Management, L.P., which he co-founded in 1990. He currently serves on various corporate boards. Josh is actively involved in charitable and political organizations. He is a member of The Federal Reserve Bank of New York Investors Advisory Committee on Financial Markets. Josh serves as Chairman of the Department of Medicine Advisory Board for The Mount Sinai Medical Center and is on the Board of Trustees of the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is also a member of The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board and is on the Board of Trustees of Harvard Business School. Josh and his wife Marjorie are parents of 3 boys and 2 girls. Hannah is in Seventh Grade at Columbia Grammar, and Stuart and Thomas attend Allen-Stevenson and are in Fifth and Second Grades respectively. Pierce and Bridget are not of school age.
