Greg Mondre

Lamplighter

Greg Mondre is a Managing Partner and Managing Director of Silver Lake, a private equity firm focused on technology investments. Prior to joining Silver Lake in 1999, Greg was a principal at Texas Pacific Group, where he focused on private equity investments across a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on technology. Earlier in his career, Greg worked as an investment banker in the Communications, Media and Entertainment group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He currently serves as a director of Avaya, Inc., Fanatics, Inc., GoDaddy, Inc., Motorola Solutions, Red Ventures, Sabre Holdings and Vantage Data Centers.

Greg grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and attended Pine Crest Preparatory School. He graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics. Greg’s wife, Alex, joined the Board of Trustees at The American Museum of Natural History in 2015. They have two sons, Jake (1st Grade) and William.

Rashida LaLande

Rashida LaLande is a partner in the New York office of the law first Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Rashida’s areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions and leveraged buyouts. She represents companies and private equity sponsors in the consumer products, retail, financial services and technology industries. Rashida received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard/Radcliff College and her JD from Columbia University School of Law. She is on the Board of Democracy Prep Endurance Charter School in Harlem, the Board of the Boys Club of New York and the Brotherhood/SisterSol. Rashida is also an Ambassador for the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture.

Rashida’s husband, Derrick Diggs, is the President and Director of Business Development for Diggs Construction. He manages strategic planning and business development for the company and is responsible for marketing, public relations and new business nationwide. Rashida and Derrick have one son at Allen-Stevenson, Dechen (4th Grade), a daughter at Dalton and two younger children.
