David Hazard Gillespie ’87 and his wife, Jessica, welcomed a second daughter, Alexa Hazard Gillespie, into their family on April 24, 2007.

Mrs. Beard, 30, is a manager for displays, windows and other visual merchandising at the Madison Avenue branch of Talbots. She graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley. Jeremy, 36, works in New York as a director of commercial real estate securitization for Deutsche Bank, helping to create and sell pools of real estate loans for investors. Gregrory Enrico Grunberg ’87 (gregory_grunberg@yahoo.com) is working in venture capital at Rho Ventures, focused mostly on the health care sector. He trained as a physician at Duke and Cornell Universities, and recently left McKinsey & Company to join Rho. He is married to Kihong (Cindy) Kim Grunberg. Christopher J. Hallows ’87 (hallowschris@hotmail.com) writes, “I have been assigned to 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division at Fort Lewis in Washington where I will be taking command of 167-man Stryker Company. Heather and son, Michael, are excited to be up in the Northwest and are looking forward to doing a lot of hiking and camping.” Zachary Levin ’87 (zlevin@nyc.rr.com) and wife, Sheilla Manigat-Levin, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in May. They are also business partners as real estate brokers with Douglas Elliman. Zach also has a second, but by no means secondary, career as a freelance writer. He wrote his first article in 1996 and has been at it ever since. He says, “If I've written anything of merit, then it's in large part due to exceptional teachers such as Mr. Kersey, Mr. Pariseau and Mr. Harlan. They were three of the best teachers I've ever had.”

Louis Rose ’86 (louisrose@earthlink.net) has opened an event space called 583 Park in the old Third Church of Christ Scientist with his brothers, John Rose ’90 and Berton Rose ’97 who have formed The Rose Group. The Allen-Stevenson Family Spring Benefit was held there in April.

Lewis Charles Liebert ’88 (liebert@performanceflightny.com) writes, “True to form, I have started yet another company, Performance Flight. The new company is a flight school offering all levels of instruction to those interesting in learning to fly. A brand new Cirrus airplane arrived at the end of February and a stateof-the-art simulator arrived around the same time.” Gregory Anton Pendl ’88 (gpendl1@nyc.rr.com) writes, “I am well. Recently had drinks with Keith Williams '98, a student of mine when I taught at A-S.
