Kids Triathlon and Maps
KIDS Triathlon
Kids ages 7-14 are invited to be a part of the weekend of events. Athletes aged 7-10 will swim 100 meters in the calm waters of Lake Lloyd, transition onto their bikes for one lap around the track (3 miles) and then hit the road in their run gear to complete the ½ mile run to the finish line.

Athletes aged 11-14 will swim 200 meters in the calm waters of Lake Lloyd, transition onto their bikes for two laps around the track (5.5 miles) and then hit the road in their run gear to complete the 1 mile run to the finish line.
Swim Course
● 100m Ages 7-10 ● 200m Ages 11-14
The Kids race starts with a 100m (ages 7-10) or 200m (ages 11-14) , one-loop swim in the calm waters of Lake Lloyd, within the iconic Daytona International Speedway track. Athletes will enter the water via a grass ramp, swim a single counter-clockwise loop, and exit via ramp to the Transition Area. The water temperature in Lake Lloyd is typically between 68 and 72 degrees (20-22 degrees Celsius).

Bike Course
● 1 lap Ages 7-10 ● 2 laps Ages 11-14
After a quick transition, kids enjoy an unprecedented opportunity to race their bikes around Daytona International Speedway!! Once they’ve completed 1 or 2 laps (depending on their age), they’ll return to transition to start the run.

Run Course Kids Age 7-10
The run courses for kids ages 7-10 and kids ages 11-14 are very different so please take the time to familiarize yourself with the maps below. Kids ages 7-10 will run the most direct line possible to our iconic finish line to complete the ½ mile run course and finish a triathlon!!

Run Course Kids Age 11-14
The run courses for kids ages 7-10 and kids ages 11-14 are very different so please take the time to familiarize yourself with the maps. Kids ages 11-14 will run a flat and circuitous route through our RV lot and then proceed onto pit lane which will take them straight to the finish line! Yahoo!
