Alexander William Schifter

Alexander Schifter is a fractional CFO consultant with Centripetal Advisors, specializing in partnering with enterprise SaaS startups to help them scale. He frequently invests in his clients when opportunities present themselves, combining his entrepreneurial experience and financial expertise to guide founders toward success. Having run his businesses, he comprehensively understands startup business planning, strategic finance, and revenue operations. In 2022, Alexander acquired XO Espresso Bar, a specialty coffee shop in Miami that offers premium coffee and wellness drinks. As the owner and CEO, he manages all aspects of business development, financial planning, procurement, human resources, and payroll across two café locations. In addition, he has expanded into wholesale operations and is currently seeking new locations and franchise partners. Later this year, he plans to open a new XO Espresso Bar in a prime luxury location in Miami Beach. Furthermore, he secured a three-year consulting and coffee supply agreement with the renowned French patisserie Yann Couvreur, which supports the café’s expansion into new locations. In 2021, Alexander co-founded Hello Arthur, a marketplace that allowed healthcare providers to purchase medical and dental supplies directly from manufacturers, passing cost savings to the end customer. Although the business reached six-figure revenue, he chose to wind it down and focus solely on XO Espresso Bar. His career began in 2015 at AGC Partners, an investment bank based in Boston, where he served as an Investment Bank Analyst. He worked on both buy-side and sell-side engagements, creating financial models and client materials essential for M&A processes. Technology Investment Banker spanning several midsized and large regional boutiques from 2015 to 2020. In 2017, he joined DCA, a boutique investment bank in New York, as an Associate, where he worked on several deals and prepared financial models, valuations, and due diligence for potential venture investments.
