AIA College of Fellows Class of 2022

ongratulations to the 2022 Class of Fellows! Preparing a Fellowship submission is an arduous process, and the pandemic can only have made it all that more challenging. The Jury was impressed with the outstanding quality of the submissions - we all felt humbled and confident that the profession and the College are in great shape. We had an outstanding Jury this year. Serving on the jury for three years and chairing this past year has been one of the highlights of my professional career. I was honored to be among such a distinguished group of Fellows and have made lifelong friendships. Even though we had to meet virtually, I can assure you the Jury worked tirelessly and reviewed each submission with diligence and care. Seeing such exceptional work made the effort enjoyable and inspiring. Once again, the AIA staff was outstanding and made our work happen – a special thanks to Daniel, Vickie, and Makeeya. Class of 2022, enjoy this well-deserved recognition of your achievements. As many will tell you, Fellowship is not a conclusion but the beginning of a new phase and new responsibilities. I look forward to celebrating with you in Chicago. On behalf of the 2022 Jury, Steven Spurlock, FAIA 2022 Jury of Fellows, Chair
