It's Christmas in the Asian peanut sector!
A massive 27 million tons of peanuts hit the market, with 16 million tons as nuts and 10 million tons as bio waste. It's no surprise that peanuts account for 88% of all the nuts produced globally, outpacing almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, and more. Margins may seem small at first glance, but when multiplied by the volume, it becomes clear — it's not just peanuts! :)
