ASHTON LG2 Architecture’s projects are deeply rooted in the DNA of the brands it partners with. In 2022, two young entrepreneurs with a vision of expansion acquired the Quebec poutine institution Ashton. To fully embrace this new beginning, the design concept was completely overhauled, seamlessly blending modern touches with traditional elements rooted in the brand’s history. The transformation can be seen from the outer shell to the interior details. All the hallmarks of classic diners were revisited with a modern twist: the curved edges throughout, the triple red line marking out the customer path and wrapping around the furniture, the neon lighting and the red tin roof are all reminiscent of Ashton’s original 1969 food truck.
