Africa University Development Office

Under the direction of James H. Salley, president and chief executive officer of Africa University (Tennessee) Inc. and Associate Vice-Chancellor for Institutional Advancement, Africa University, the Development Office, in accordance with its mission, assumes responsibility for performing the following functions: Interpreting the programs and missioner needs of the university to local churches, districts, annual conferences, jurisdictions, general boards and agencies, and individual and corporate donors; Developing and communicating the fund-raising priorities of Africa University; Providing fund-raising planning, consultation, execution, and information services to the University community; Identifying and cultivating volunteers and major and planned gift donors and volunteers; Providing donor relations and stewardship services to University donors; and Managing the development database and related gift processing systems.
