Parent Volunteer Groups Father's Club Current Goals: •

Our main aim is to provide a platform for Fathers and Father figures of the St Hilda’s community to connect, collaborate, and support their daughters and each other.

We endeavour to connect our business community through collaborative opportunities.

We aim to launch a Father’s Club Scholarship Program in 2022, for a girl to attend the school from years 10-12 who would not otherwise have the opportunity to access education at St Hilda’s.

Women's Auxiliary St Hilda’s Women’s Auxiliary provides a social contact for all mothers within our school community. It is an opportunity for mothers to meet a number of staff and establish friendships across all year levels.

Parents and Friends Association St Hilda’s Parents and Friends Association’s quarterly meetings provide a forum for the School Principal and Support Group Presidents to present and share information about School and Community news and events.

Boarder Parents Support Group The BPSG works to enhance boarding facilities for our girls and to address any areas that could be improved through consultation with families and staff. Exchange of ideas aimed at enhancing the happiness and care of boarders comes from the active BPSG.

Parent Volunteer Groups Rowing Supporters Group The Rowing Supporters Group comprises parents who support St Hilda's rowers in three main areas: • Support of the girls at early morning training sessions with breakfasts and in making trips to Wyaralong Dam and beyond for regattas. •

Fundraising to purchase equipment and sponsorship.

•

Offering parents and friends the chance to develop friendships while at regattas or attending one of the social functions.

Supporters of the Creative Arts The Supporters of the Creative Arts group assists and extends our Creative Arts programs with particular emphasis on student performance and the support of excellence, including: • Promoting and supporting events showcasing Music, Visual Art, Drama, Creative Writing and Dance. •

Encouraging wider student participation in the Creative Arts.

Assisting in developing parental and community audiences for Creative Arts activities.

•

Conducting fundraising events as required by the Creative Arts departments.

Aquatics Club St Hilda’s students, family, friends, and members of the Gold Coast community are invited to join the Aquatics Club. Aims and objectives of the Club are: • To provide a positive environment where swimmers produce their best possible swimming, whether it be a personal best time or reaching State and National levels. •

To provide dedicated coaches to support your child’s dreams, goals, and desires.

To help develop each swimmer’s values and character.

•

Teaching of stroke technique and race strategies, the foundation on which our program is based.

The School environment has been developed over more than 100 years through the generosity of past communities and the support of the Anglican Diocese. To aid this generosity, the St Hilda's Foundation was established in 2013 as a registered not-for-profit charity accepting tax deductible donations.

Girls grow up with wide-ranging dreams and one of the greatest gifts we can give them is the opportunity to learn and broaden their horizons through new life experiences. Our success depends on the support of our local community. Together we will shape strong and confident individuals who enrich our community and lead positive change in the world.

St Hilda’s Foundation Disaster Relief The St Hilda's Foundation Disaster Relief initiative was created to support those in our St Hilda’s community who face great hardship due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters. Grants and Internships Grants and Internships are available to students entering Year 11, made possible by the St Hilda’s Foundation in partnership with News Corp Australia, the Gold Coast Suns, Triple Eight Race Engineering and Qscan Radiology Clinics. Each Grant awards the recipient with the opportunity to complete a 2-week internship; an opportunity to gain valuable experience and assist with the student's relationship and/ or application with the corresponding business after their graduation. Each Grant includes financial support to assist the successful student's endeavours, thanks to the generous donors of St Hilda’s Foundation. Carey Lane Early Learning Centre In 2017, the St Hilda’s Foundation established Carey Lane Early Learning Centre, an Anglican, not-for-profit childcare centre, to broaden and enhance the School community. Funds from the centre are used to support the St Hilda's Community via the Foundation.
