The Home Grown Café kitchen in Newark has prepared more than 2,200 meals since the initiative began in late March.
A contribution of $50 will provide meals for about four healthcare workers.

When faced with the restrictions that came with the pandemic, Home Grown Café Owner Sasha Aber and her staff repurposed the popular restaurant as a place of giving. Since then, their Adopt-a-Unit at ChristianaCare GoFundMe initiative has already served over 2,000 meals to local healthcare workers on the front lines of a crisis
