Community Sing - Join the All Seasons Singers in the Grand Living Room to sing with your neighbors . Did you know there are several proven emotional and physical benefits of choral singing? Singing in community strengthens feelings of togetherness, regulates heart rate, reduces stress levels and depression, improves symptoms of Parkinson's and lung disease, improves feelings of social well-being, and can even increase life expectancy . Ray Funk will lead songs from diverse genres and styles, and all vocal parts and comfort levels are welcome .

Poetry Gatherings

Roger’s poetry workshops include readings followed by Writers’ Gatherings in which residents are encouraged to bring and share their own poetic creations . Roger Pierce, a native Texan, has lived in Tucson for more than 20 years . Roger has tried to retire several times, but, as he says: “I just can’t seem to get it right .” Ordained to Protestant ministry 54 years ago, Roger served 20 years as a Navy Chaplain, then as a hospice chaplain in Tucson, just to name a few assignments . “I’m a poem-maker”, he commented recently . “I’ve been creating poetry for almost 50 years and my shelves are lined with three-ring binders filled with poetic efforts .”

Men’s Social Coffee Meetup and Veterans Meetup

Join us on Fridays and Saturday mornings! “Solving the world’s problems…or not .” An affinity group for men meeting every Friday to discuss pressing topics and active living in the 21st century . The Veterans Meet is open to both men and women veterans and meets Saturday mornings . For more details, please contact your Life Enrichment team .

NEW! Join the Spanish Speaking Monthly morning Meetup, starting on Nov . 9th, to brush up on your Spanish and practice with other bilingual residents and staff . Open to various fluency levels . Knitting and Textile Arts Club - Knitting and Textile Arts Club meets every Wednesday, continuing to develop skills and projects using techniques such as knitting, crocheting, and embroidery .A huge shoutout to the members who started months ago creating individual squares, then stitching them together, and then creating an intricate border around the Afghan which will be raffled off at our CASA Fundraiser!
