Imagine a tape that could help your body heal while making it feel whole and well again. Developed in 1973 in Japan by Dr. Kenzo Kase, Kinesio Tex Tape was created for athletes to heal properly and quickly while maintaining full range of motion and support. While traditional wrapping puts pressure on the joint, cutting off necessary healing fluids, Kinesio aids the lymphatic (healing) and muscle systems. Kinesio tape made its worldwide debut at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Then, at the 2008 Summer Games, a news whirlwind began when athletes were spotted wearing the product.
