Peter Cuffaro, who has just opened his own new estate agency in Stanstead Abbotts, is on a mission to raise people’s expectations of their property agent.

Peter has worked in the property business for more than 20 years, the vast majority of that locally for other agents, and decided to open his own agency through a desire to do things differently.

For him, job satisfaction lies in doing a great job for his customers and having them acknowledge that they have received excellent service.

“I want to raise the minimum standard people expect from an estate agent,” he says.

Peter is in the process of setting up a lettings side and he also has an independent mortgage expert within the team who offers impartial advice and has already surprised people expecting to rent by being able to find them affordable mort- gages despite the recent market volatility.

This kind of help and advice is proving particularly invaluable to first time buyers, and Peter has also built alliances with solicitors who he is now able to recommend where required.

A relentless focus on hard work, including on marketing and virtual viewings, is helping vendors achieve best prices for their properties. Based in Stanstead Abbotts High Street, Peter Cuffaro deals with properties in all the surrounding areas including Hoddesdon, Nazeing, Roydon, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hertford Heath, the south side of Ware and local villages.
