XR BRAKE FLUID For racing only

Wilwood says its new XR race-only* brake fluid is the highest performance brake fluid for every level of motorsports, used successfully by F1, FIA World Endurance, MotoGP and World Rally Championship competitors. The new “extreme” XR Race-Only brake fluid formula has been in development for some time and was tested by top-level race teams throughout 2020. It has a 645-degree Fahrenheit boiling point, and Wilwood states it delivers “the best, most consistent pedal feel from start to finish, in the most adverse high-temperature racing conditions.” Wilwood explains that its XR Brake Fluid features a proprietary blend of high-performance polymer electrolytes and borate esters provide the highest resistance to aeration, plus: • Lowest compressibility available • Lowest moisture affinity available • Highest temperature resistance It has been designed for extreme temperature and endurance racing and boasts premium packaging with an airtight safety seal which ensures fresh, clean fluid upon opening. XR Race-Only Brake Fluid has reportedly been formulated to deliver the absolute best, most consistent pedal feel, start to finish, even in the most adverse racing conditions. For racers, the wet boiling point is irrelevant; only a high dry boiling specification matters. It says if the brakes are bled and filled with fresh fluid before events as part of your pre-race ritual, you will never absorb enough moisture to lower the dry boiling point. Wilwood explains that its XR Race-Only brake fluid has one of the highest dry boiling points of any readily available fluid. Every can of XR brake fluid is sealed airtight from the factory to keep out moisture and ensure optimum performance. Once opened, the container should be kept in a zip lock bag for future use.
