Early today, I woke up in the morning and bumped my head. Then, when I went to brush my teeth, I hit my head on the sink. I felt really tired and wanted to fall back into bed, so I tried to say I was not feeling well. But my mom said I was fine and today was “Dress Up Like Spongebob Day.” But I was full of it and said, “No” and slammed my door. By the way, “full of it” means not having it today. Back to this morning. I put on my pants and shirt and went down to the kitchen to make lunch. I wanted sushi, so I took some out and put it in my lunch box, which is pink and blue. Then I heard the ring of the bus outside and dashed to put on my shoes. I went outside and looked up at the sky. It was red,

just like hell. I looked at the bus—there were zombies. I fainted, then woke up surrounded by cold-blooded zombies. I said that maybe my best friend was not a zombie. I went to her house and knocked. I was pulled into the house/shed and looked at my best friend. She was so happy that she wasn’t a zombie. We dashed to my friend’s room. There was some food there, too. We had forgotten to lock the door. Then my friend and I heard that “rrrrrrr” sound and it hit us: we had forgotten to lock the door. Luckily, we locked the room door. We heard our stomach rumble and looked at the clock. The clock said 3:45. After a half-hour, it said the same thing. An hour later, it said the same thing still. We didn’t hear any noise and thought the zombies had left. We were getting hungry, so we got the food from under the bed and ate the sandwiches. Then, we heard the noise again. We started to shiver under the bed covers. It was cold and turning dark. Then it hit me. I looked at the clock, and it still said 3:45. I asked my friend to pinch me and she did. I heard my parent’s voices. “NIA, WAKE UP!” I was in a hospital bed. It turns out I went brain dead and was in there for a week. I asked my parents if I could get Wendy’s. They said yes, then I had my Wendy’s and Sunburst melon drink. It was super nasty, but the biggy bag was good. It felt tasty and smelled like heaven. Then I asked to see Riau, my twin brother. He got me Mimi Brand, which I had to open with him.
