25-years and counting Akrapovič marks an important milestone in the company’s history in 2016 when the Slovenian exhaust specialist celebrates its 25th anniversary. Since our inception in 1991, when founder Igor Akrapovič began making exhausts in his garage for local motorcycle racers, Akrapovič has grown to international recognition as the foremost manufacturer of premium exhaust products in the world. Racing has always been the lifeblood of Akrapovič, and as the company celebrates its 25th anniversary, we also celebrated our 100th World Champion, a feat achieved when Jorge Lorenzo won the MotoGP™ championship in 2015. 4
The company has been built on a solid foundation to produce the best products and give an exceptional service in all areas. This attitude has been implemented by the dedication and hard work of the loyal Akrapovič employees past and present. The company now operates from state-of-theart manufacturing facilities, with advanced design studios, high-tech testing laboratories and an in-house titanium foundry. All directed to making sure we are the best we can be in all areas, including the development of innovative products, commercial growth, our delivery of the finest products to our customers, and the desire to be the best in all our racing activities.
Akrapovič has chosen to mark its 25th anniversary by launching a very limited-edition range of just 25 exhausts exclusively signed by racing stars to celebrate this occasion, and the Slovenian performance exhaust specialist has been donating some of these exhausts to charity.
