Editing Clips 2015, Groove Korea

For several months in 2015, I was Groove Korea’s travel editor. Working with this group of amazing writers and photographers was a wonderful experience. April: Please turn to page 54 to read about Christine Pickering’s trip to Vietnam, where she rode through the country’s highlands on the back of a motorcycle and gained uncomfortable insights into the politics of international travel. May: Please turn to page 54 to read about Yoki Suhyun Jeong’s trip to Cuba and see stunning images of a world that may soon fade into the past. June: Alex Nems shares an eye-opening experience in Indonesia, where she witnessed a Balinese funeral procession and captured beautiful photographs of the traditional ceremony. (Story starts on page 52.) July: Another insightful piece by Christine Pickering about her time as an activist in Cambodia and the ethical conflicts she experienced. (Story starts on page 58.)
