Photobiomodulation Therapy
What is Photobiomodulation? Photobiomodulation is the Modulation of a Biological system with Photons. Very specific wavelengths of light, measured in nanometers, have different absorption points and capacities in the cells. Green for example is absorbed into the blood, Reds and shorter Near Infrareds are absorbed into the Cytochrome C Oxidase in the Mitochondria of the cells, and longer near infrareds like 940nm are absorbed into the water in the cell membrane.
