MESSAGE

Hello Owls! I hope you’ve all been well this past month and are not too overwhelmed with homework just yet. I know the beginning of the school year can be rough, but just know that you have the support of myself, the Leadership Team, and your club Presidents! WE ARE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU! With the meetings you have all had, I hope you’ve been showered by the joy of new and old members who are eager to join Key Club! Remember to take advantage of the new school year to attract new members, get them involved, and invite them into the D38W Owl Ohana! Because it’s such a great and wonderful one, am I right? I hope to see you all at our September DCM and the many events the Leadership Team and I have planned for you all! Remember that this is one of the busiest time in Key Club, so don’t forget to check your email for updates on upcoming division events! And as always, L-O-V-E I LOVE MY D-I-V! Happy Readings! -Jason Barajas

The July DCM was one of the most fun Key Club gatherings I have ever had! It was great to see that most of the schools were spending their summer productively and that they had a lot in store for the upcoming year. My favorite part was the water balloon fight; no matter how hard I threw, those balloons wouldn’t pop on anyone! I was also very happy to pie our Division Leadership team.

-Richard Ballena , Highland High School It was great to see fellow Key Club members at the July DCM as well as getting to pie the Division Leadership Team this summer! The water balloon fight we had was also a blast! It was great to discuss all of the club’s individual plans and events that they had in store for the year. Overall it was a very fun and informative DCM as it usually is! I can’t wait until the next DCM!

-Jon Figueroa, SOAR High School 6
