Event Updates Elections Club elections should ideally be in January so that the new board can select delegates for Conclave. The offices that people can run for are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Tech Editor. Elections will be handled by the current club officers and club advisor (s). There aren’t many strict rules regarding how elections should be handled, but each candidate should have a set amount of time for a speech and a caucus session. Also, only paid dues members can run for office and vote. Remember that elections aren’t a popularity contest and that the winner should be the most capable of all the candidates.

Conclave Conclave is where we will be electing the new Lieutenant Governor for the 2012-2013 year. Clubs from each of the schools will bring 2 delegates to represent their school’s vote. Conclave will follow the same procedures as regular club elections. It will be on February 2, 2013 at the Palmdale Hotel.
