Recently Married.

God “I am” Before Time began. My Son, so true He died for you. Now He stands Where He commands Through history’s pages Down through the ages He stands by you To bring you through My child upon a cross Such; love, such loss Such trust betrayed His heart dismayed A sacrifice so great To redeem your faith. See His face in every face Find His love in every place There’s no soul beyond His reach As His love is for each and each.. His mercy is for all For one and for all.

Recently married on the 23rd March 2018 in the Holy Family Church, Caheragh; Roseanne O’Sullivan, Lassanaroe and Declan O’Donovan, Goleen. See the Shepherd watching o’er the fold He welcomes you from a world grown cold “He never turns from you away He watches for you day and night There are lambs to feed So set aside your greed For it is never too late He awaits you at the gate “My peace I bring you My peace I leave you”. “So “love one another” As sister as brother As father as mother. Talk to your sister there She will share your care Talk to your brother here He will calm your fear Speak to the people everywhere Remember that I am always there. When time is done “I am” S.O’F

YOUNG-AT-HEART ( CAHERAGH ACTIVE RETIRED CLUB )

At a very quiet period, while a new floor was being laid in the hall, we returned to find a very pleasant looking floor which we hope will serve the hall well in the coming years. We attended a Bealtaine celebration on May 1st in the West Cork Hotel. On Monday May 21st, we went to Griffin’s Garden Centre where we enjoyed a very tasty dinner and then enjoyed the main focus of the day, the wonderful array of shrubs and plants. While we meet weekly in the hall we also look forward to days out. We would welcome new members, they could call in on any Thursday between 2 and 4 o’ clock for a chat and a cuppa.

Caheragh Dromore Defibrillator Group

Caheragh Dromore Defibrillator group continues to meet regularly to practice Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the AEDs. All are welcome to take part in the training, which includes Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The group continues to take responsibility for maintaining and checking all four AEDs at Dromore National School, Clancy’s Cross, Coachmans Inn Bauravilla and on the outside wall of the former Stags Head pub in the square. We wish to thank the Parish community for their continuing goodwill and support. Knowing how to administer CPR and to use AED means that in the event of a heart related emergency, locally trained volunteers can access and use one of the four AEDs. Swift intervention has been proven to save lives.
