2 Review the minutes
The minutes were agreed and are available on the website.
4. Declaration of interest
There were no declarations of interest.
5. A report on campaign activity to be ratified at the meeting – Officers
This report was presented by the Officers and ratified and available to be published. The Officers also gave a verbal update on matters which were added to the report after the meeting.
6. All student meetings date setting
The committee decided the following dates:
Thursday 30th November 11.30am-1pm
Thursday 14th December 10.30am-12pm
Tuesday 30th January 2024 (time TBC)
Thursday 14th March 2024 (time TBC)
7. NUS National Conference
OA will be leading the NUS delegates to the conference.
8. Consider any mandates received from students and SRF (incl. Talk to TUSU)
a) School Fees Instalment
Complaints continue to be received from international students regarding the reduction in the number of instalments for new and enrolled students. Student Officers
have raised this matter with the University, but the University have stated that no changes will be made.
b) Car park
Complaints continue to be received from students about a lack of parking places when arriving for lectures. The officers continue to liaise with the University.
9. Report on any appeals received from societies or other student groups
No appeals have been received.
10. Date of the Next Meeting
The date of the next meeting is Tuesday 11th December 2023.
