Hello Arbor Greene (AG) Neighbors, Thank you to the many AG residents who made our first-ever Homeowners Association’s (HOA) “meet and greet” a success in October. Residents were able to meet Creative Management staff members, HOA board members, and DRB committee members. Sponsoring vendors, including Creative Management, provided food and several gift card giveaways. There was a great deal of healthy interaction and educational discussions about our community and its direction. We look forward to hosting similar vendor-funded events in the future. Thank you all!

The previously publicized “Super Inspection” is still underway and will transition shortly to the standard weekly inspections. If you receive violation notices and have any questions, please contact Creative Management, or visit the HOA website (www.arborgreenehoa.com) and use the “Contact-Us” link. Our Manager is aware of duplicate violation mailings and is working with the printer to correct the error, ensuring our community is not charged for duplicate mailings. Please remember that any external work to your home, such as painting, landscaping, tree removal, etc., requires residents to complete a Design Review Board (DRB) application submitted 7 days prior to the next DRB meeting. Online and printable DRB applications are found on the HOA website, but please contact our Manager with any questions. Here are a few holiday notes: Installation of holiday decorations should be no earlier than 6 weeks before the holiday and removal within 3 weeks after. December will also see an HOA holiday decoration contest, so watch the HOA website and next article for details. Our November HOA and DRB meetings will be held on the 28th, and the December HOA and DRB meetings will be held on the 12th to accommodate holiday vacations. Please watch the HOA website calendar and AG entrance sign to for any additional meeting updates. Thank you for your helpful feedback and displaying pride in our community. We wanted to thank residents for caring enough to adhere to the AG covenants, helping to make this community one of the best choices for homeowners and families to live in. Sincerely, Paul Boucher ARBOR GREENE GAZETTE

Neighborhood Watch Holiday Safety Tips Hello Arbor Greene (AG) Neighbors. We hope you and your family are enjoying a safe Fall season. Last month’s article addressed Fall security tips. This month, we will focus on holiday safety. We want to first thank AG residents who attended the Tampa Police Department’s (TPD) National Night Out (NNO). NNO is where people and the TPD work together to make our communities safer. It was a successful event with free food, security information, and giveaways. TPD’s horse patrol and motorcycle officers, Lightning hockey team’s mascot, and Fire and Rescue were some of the participants who made it a fun and informative evening. TPD stressed that it was seeing an increase in vehicle burglaries, so whether at home or away, we need to lock our vehicles to deter thieves. Now we’ll briefly cover holiday shopping safety. When shopping, you should only take items that you will need, including your fully charged phone. Don’t bring too many credit cards and consider only bringing necessary cash. If you must withdraw cash from an ATM, use an ATM in a public, well-lit location, preferably indoors. Pay attention to your surroundings while securing your purse or wallet, and don’t let your phone distract you. Try to park close to store entrances, in well-lit areas, and be observant of anyone near you in parking lots. If you’re traveling from store to store, consider placing purchases in your vehicle’s trunk. If you observe suspicious activity while shopping, like someone continually watching or following you, immediately notify store security or the police. You should immediately call TPD’s Non-Emergency number (813231-6130) to report suspicious activity or person(s). If you think a crime is about to occur or has been committed, then immediately dial 9-1-1. Always call the TPD from a safe location and do not confront the suspicious person(s). If you want to receive more safety and security tips, please email us at ArborGreene-NWA@hotmail.com. Joining the email group does not obligate you to any NHW activity. NHW is an all-volunteer run program overseen by the TPD.
