Genelia, who tied the knot with actor Riteish Deshmukh in February, is already back in action. Last seen on the big screen in 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' with her husband, Genelia is said to be an integral part of 'The Chosen One'. She will play mentor to youngsters on the show, according to a source. Genelia had dropped hints to her fans about a new venture through Twitter. "Shooting after three months, feels good, great team and a new venture, reveal details in a couple of days," the actress tweeted. 'The Chosen One' will give youngsters a chance to be an insider to Bollywood gossip, and to rub shoulders with the Who's Who of tinsel town. It is a hunt for a face, who will represent the channel. The show will be hosted by Shamoly Khera and Imam Siddique. The Chosen One is a show where one girl will be crowned the winner amongst 10 others to be the 'Face' of UTV Stars - The official channel of Bollywood! On one hand there was an outburst of real life cases where women were used as a medium to extract more wealth from her parents while on the other a solution every girl and her family can adopt to keep away from humiliation. One such community that has shunned the practice of dowry is the Tanzeem Khuddam-E-Millat that believes in "No band, no baaja, no baraat" and stands by the thought that marriages should be simple. Even Bhiwandi in Maharashtra follows the same practice. The founder of the initiative titled Tanzeem Khuddam-E-Millat applauded Aamir for his noble efforts and being a descendant of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a true patriot and an Indian. However, the shows highlight was a middle class girl from Mumbai who fought all odds to have a non-dowry marriage organized for herself. Rani Tripathi from Mumbai, dared her prospective husband and in-laws by video-taping their dowry demands and showing it to the public with the help of media. Her family stood by her through thick and thin and decided to get her married to someone who wouldn't ever ask for dowry. Rani's wedding was dreamlike as she found her life partner, Pawan Tripathi who fell in love with her courage and proposed to her for marriage after sending in an application on seeing her on television. By bringing Rani on 'Satyamev Jayate', Aamir has indeed helped a number of women and families to gather courage and take a leaf from her book.

However, Sobti assures he'll be back. "I am not quitting the show. I am going to be back and to be honest, once I am back, the show will become even more exciting. 'Savdhan India' tries to analyse crime

ctor Sushant Singh, who is co-anchoring crime-based show "Savdhan India" with Gaurav Chopra, describes it as an analytical programme trying to figure out why crime happens, the psychology behind it. The latter says it also cautions people. "Through this show, we are trying to analyse crime and why it happens. We want to understand the psychology behind it. Our motive is also to create awareness so that people are more careful while interacting with others," Sushant had earlier presented "Wanted: High Alert" on television. TV actor Gaurav Chopra, who is co-hosting the show, says the main aim is to sensitise people about such crimes. "It is also to make them proactive, so that these crimes can be prevented. These crimes affect me to a great extent and this show is exactly what I want to do." The show narrates real life crime stories after a lot of research work.

The 24-year-old actor made her acting debut with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl last year and says she has set no limitations for herself as an actor and will also do intimate scenes if the script so demands. "I have no limitations and that is because I believe in myself. When you finish reading a script and you still remember about that one kissing scene and think that the script is goodÖ But just because it has a kissing scene, hence you will not do it. This means that with what intention the writer must have written that scene, you have not understood it," she says. Even in Ishaqzaade, there are a few intimate scenes between her and co-star Arjun Kapoor. "When I was reading Ishaqzaade script, I did not think of the lovemaking or kissing scene. The placement of the scene in the movie is right and it is not that it has been put for fun or for everyone to enjoy. If you like the script for what it is, or if the intention of the writer is to have a lovemaking scene, or kissing scene or bikini or dance or whatever, I will do it. I feel as an actor one must not have any inhibition," she feels. Ishqzaade is a romantic drama directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra. "The film did well. It is not that you have to believe in it (number game)Ö there will be numbers involved. As you are making a film you will make money or not make money. Numbers can only tell you if people are going to watch the film or not. It is not about see how much money we are making, what matters is if more people are watching the film even on weekdays," says Parineeti. "Every film has an audience be it actors or directors or other factors. There is no factor in this film that would have attracted the audience to theatres. INGREDIENTS

• Eggs 3 • Sugar6 tablespoons • Refined flour (maida) 1/2 cup • Baking powder 1 teaspoon • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons • Tinned cherries, seeded + syrup 1/2 cup • Whipping cream 1 cup • Chocolate shavings to decorate METHOD

LAMB CHOP with GARDEN SALAD By Niranjan Kale INGREDIENTS

(serves 4) • 3 tspn extra virgin olive oil • 1 lemon, juiced • 4 garlic cloves, crushed • Salt & freshly ground pepper • 6 (about 350 gm) lamb chops • Fresh Garden Salad and Tomato Ketchup when served • 1 tbs cumin seeds • 3tbs chopped fresh mint • 3 tbs Garam Masala • Coriander for garnish.

METHOD

First, wash the lamb chops in warm water and remove all the excess fat form the chops. Combine the oil, lemon juice and garlic in a ceramic or glass dish. Season with salt and pepper. Add the lamb chops

Preheat the oven to 180ºC/360ºF. Line the base and grease a deep eightinch round cake tin. Beat the eggs for a couple of minutes. Add the sugar and continue to beat for eight to ten minutes or until thick and pale. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder over the egg mixture and

fold in gently. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake tin. Bake in the preheated oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until springy to the touch. Remove from the oven and leave the cake in the tin for five minutes to cool slightly. Turn it out onto a wire rack, peel off the paper base and leave to cool. When completely cooled, cut the cake in half horizontally and sprinkle each half with cherry syrup from the tinned cherries. Whip the cream until stiff. Place the bottom half of the cake on a serving plate and spread half the whipped cream over it. Place cherries on it and cover with the top half of the cake. Use the remaining cream to cover the top and sides. Decorate the gateaux with cream curls, chocolate shavings and cherries and chill in the refrigerator. Cut into wedges and serve chilled.
