ctor Saif Ali Khan says he's extremely possessive of girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. On actor Preity Zinta's chat show, which ended recently, Saif admitted that he felt like killing Bebo's on-screen heroes, when he saw them getting intimate on screen. "There are times when I see an actor holding Kareena, I do feel like killing the actor," he said. In the chat show titled Up Close & Personal with PZ, Saif repeated he gets very upset watching Kareena make love to her male co-stars. Saif added that Kareena also feels the same when he romances on screen.

t's been just over a month since popular author Chetan Bhagat released his latest book Revolution 2020 and the popularity of the book has already helped Chetan in bagging a film deal. UTV Motion Pictures has acquired the rights to the book Revolution 2020 to be made in to a major motion picture. Confirming this, Chetan said, "My latest book Revolution 2020 has really been ap-

preciated by readers all over. It has already sold over 8.5 lakh copies in just over a month. The book deals with issues that are topical for today's youth and has definite potential for being made into a film." Speaking about the deal with UTV, Chetan says, "I have been in talks with UTV for a while now. In fact they read the book before it was officially released and loved it. The top ten chefs were put to a test to prepare the best dish they would like to serve to their favourite cricketer. While each of them were all set to put their best foot forward, Bhajji was touched to see the contestants perform under stress and time constraints, he went out of his way to extend a helping hand and make their life simple.

ohit Sehgal who claimed his fame by being the hand some Samrat of Star One's popular teen show Miley Jab Hum Tum is all set to comeback on the small screen after a sabbatical with Trilogy productions tentatively titled show Khamoshiyaan. It seems his patience has paid off as this is an ambitious project. "As the lead guy is an NRI, the production house was in search of someone who could get into the character of a NRI guy. Many actors where approached for the role but now it seems the production house has zeroed in Mohit Sehgal as the lead. The show also goes on an international schedule for the shoot. The show will however go on floors only by March," reveals a source. A newcomer Mrunal has been finalized to play the female lead in the show.

here has been a lot of speculation regarding the end of Star Plus' show Tere Mere Sapne produced by Sphere Origins, but the show survived with an extension of six months. And now it seems the show will see its end this month. A source reveals, "The show was doing well in the afternoon slot and that was the reason it got an extension earlier. But now the ratings of the show have fallen again." Yash Pandit aka Sarju of Tere Mere Sapne said, "Even I have heard the rumours of the show going off air, so it might be true. DHARMENDRA GRACES 'Sawaare' show

he Punjabis are all set to rock the audi ences with the wedding of Ishmeet and Dhruv in "Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto." The couple will finally tie the knot in the midst of grand celebrations and blessings. To make the celebrations even more magnificent, Dharmendra will grace the show at the Roka ceremony to bless the couple. Also, music-composer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya will perform at their sangeet and will dedicate a track from his film "Damadamm" to the duo. There is intrigue and a latent chemistry in our on-screen equation. Shah Rukh, you call her a 'jungli billi' in the film. Is she like that in reality? SRK: She is my tame rat. PC: I am not a rat, and I am certainly not tame! Please find a better-looking animal to compare me to. SRK: Okay! She is my tame rabbit (khargosh). Look, I am extremely, extremely, extremely fond of her and I have a huge amount of genuine love and respect for her talent. Priyanka is really talented as an actor... and I am not saying it b e cause she is sitting here. I like learning from actors who know more than me, and Priyanka is one of them. She is one of those actors who knows more than me in her own way. But she is not oversmart. It is no fun if an actor knows everything and then struts around like he or she knows everything. that I am treating her so badly in "Don-2". PC: Shah Rukh, you are just basically patronising, that is a personality trait and you cannot help it. Okay guys, I'm supposed to be really tough in "Don-2". And even after I have given a really tough shot, SRK comes up to me and says, 'Oh! she is so cute.' How will I ever be able act tough after that? SRK: I have seen you when you were 19. PC: No! When I was 17. SRK: Okay, 17. That's why I think of you with a huge amount of fondness. You are sweet even when you try to be tough. And I found it cute in the scene where I get arrested and you put handcuffs on me. Remember I said, 'Oh kinky!' and you said, 'iski aadat dal lo Don.' I found that so cute. PC: There you go again! Is there any kinky stuff? SRK: Of course not! Incidentally, I have still not done a full fledged man-woman kind of romantic film, social film or drama with her. I hope someone comes up with a gentle film giving the two of us a little more scope for boy-girl type of relationship. It will be wonderful. "Don-2" is a thriller and we have to say words like 'jungli billi'. So, it would be nice to say the normal cute things around Priyanka. Having said that, "Don-2" is without a doubt, the most fun and special film that I have made. I am sure Priyanka, Ritesh Sidhwani (producer) and Farhan Akhtar (our director) will agree to that.

Pipa Pipa, a high-energy dance number is one of the last scenes to be shot. Instead of becoming nostalgic, the duo decide to concentrate on the dance number. In the middle of the shot, Ritesh and Genelia break out of the choreographed steps and do an impromptu jig. They do it so well that it is approved by the director Mandeep Singh and producer Kumar Taurani. f there's one actor who remembers to thank God in every second sentence that he utters these days, it's Ranbir Kapoor. The 29-year-old actor is on cloud nine after the success of Rockstar, directed by the very talented Imtiaz Ali. The film is not only raking big moolah at the box office, but has also been widely acclaimed by the critics as Kapoor's best work, till date. "It's unbelievable. And so, so heart warming," he says, and excitedly adds, "you know, Mr Bachchan wrote a very personalised letter to me, saying he loved my performance. It is simply amazing...don't know how to thank God." Amid the heaps of compliments from the fraternity and family, whose did he like the most? "Oh well," he says, "my mom watched the film five times. Mehboob Khan (maker of Mother India) brought Arun to Bombay in 1937 and introduced him in Ek Hi Rasta in the leading role. However Arun was noticed in Mehboob's another film, Aurat-1940 opposite Nazeem. They married in 1941 when Nazeem adopted Hinduism with the name Nirmala Devi. The family living in a bungalow at Carter Road, moved to Virar, a suburb, where Govinda was born. The youngest amongst all, has nickname was Chichi - meaning little finger in Punjabi. Since Arun Ahuja was unable to work, Nirmala brought up the children through hard time. That's why Govinda is called "Mama's boy". Govinda was noticed in film Love 86 and by mid 85-86, he had a signed about 40 contracts. His first film was Ilzam-86 a box-office hit and the 5th biggest hit of 1986. This film established Govinda as a dancing star. He married his love Sunita in 1987. The couple has two children Narmada and Yash. He acted in a string of movies after that with mixed success. Most of his films during 1980s were full of action, romance and family dramas. Actress Neelam was mostly cast with him in films Love-86, Khudgarz-87, Hatya-88. His family dramas Dariyadil-88, Jeete hain Shaan Se-86, Hum-91 were also successful. His action films are Marte Dam Tak-87, Jungbaaz89, Taqdeer-89. He also acted in several successful films in 1990s. After 1992, he formed a wonderful collaboration with David Dhawan and went on to act in more than one and a half dozen movies, among them Shola aur Shabnam, Ankhen-92, the highest grossing film of the year. Then followed Raja Babu-94, Coolie No.1-95, Saajan Chale Sasural-96, Hero No.1-97, DeewanaMastana-97 and Bade Mian Chote Mian-98. Fighting the battle for Sikhs in America

Am Singh portrays the trials and tribulations of men whose stories were never highlighted. After the 9/11 tragedy in America, the Sikhs were targeted all over and were the victims of mistaken identity. The film highlights what happened to few such people and their fights against it, never losing the faith in the American judicial system. A young Sikh named Ranveer Singh comes to know that among his US citizen relatives, one of his brothers is dead, his father is seriously injured and his other brother is missing. Anxious Ranveer reaches the US and tries to find out what actually happened to his family. He doesn't get the right answers. Further, he is more shocked and confused with the situation.

How was it playing Silk Smitha? I have never enjoyed being a woman more than in The Dirty Picture. It celebrates the woman like a rainbow in all her colours. Are you afraid that you might inherit the tag after this film. I am an actor and I am portraying Silk's character. So I don't think there will be a possibility of that tag being attached to my name or anything of that sort. I just hope it adds another

Was the experience this time better than the first? I have worked with Naseersaab before (in Ishqiya) and it was an honour working with him. Now I try not to show my nervousness while sharing screen space with him; I cloak it under my make-up. But he is so encouraging without being blatant about it that I will always remain grateful to him for that. What was your first reaction when you heard Emraan Hashmi will be cast opposite you? I was wondering how it would be with Emraan; I still am (bursts out with laughter). But it was a great deal of fun. Initially, it seemed things will be tough because he doesn't smile or talk too much, but now things are going on the opposite direction. After seeing Silk, his mouth never shuts...he keeps gaping (Laughs). And what about Tusshar Kapoor? What can I say about him! We had a lovely time shooting in Hyderabad. I actually convinced him that the place where we were shooting (at Ramoji Film City) was the best place on the planet Earth. I made sure that he stayed back even when he was not shooting because he is positive and wonderful person to be around besides being a fun co-star. It's a space only we both understand." Sure, but it looks like though he would love to take her out for dinners and play protective boyfriend, she is more than sure they are not meant to be together. Adds Anushka, "We are very different people." The movie also showcases Ranveer's writing and rapping talents. Ranveer has not only written, but also wrapped a small bit for a song of the film. Now we hear that the actor has also written a script of a movie that he would like to direct sometime next year. When Anushka talks, it's hard to miss her energy levels and her ability to pack in a 100 words in a minute. Ask her about it and she says, "I am not at all 'bubbly' in real life. In fact, in my first film I had no dialogue for the first half hour. People associate the 'bubbly' tag with me because of my roles in the last three films." More than her movies, Anushka is now in the news for her supposed 'size zero' figure. Anushka rubbishes that and says, "I workout six days a week, which includes a lot of weight training. I have a high metabolic rate, which is further boosted by my high protein diet. I eat every two hours." here is interest in this movie because the hero Chirag Paswan is the son of a former Union minister in India, Ram Vilas Paswan. His much awaited debut movie has a predictable story and Chirag seems to have failed to deliver a convincing act in it. But the film still manages to hold the attention of viewers with its fun and laughter. Miley Naa Miley Hum is a romantic thriller, which lacks freshness in the script. The movie has a simple story that is about a separated couple, who love their son and want to impose their choices on him. Although the plot is not inventive, director Tanveer Khan unfolds the events of the film briskly and moves on a consistent pace. He does not focus on anything unnecessarily. Chirag (Chirag Paswan) is the son of vineyard owner Siddharth (Kabir Bedi) and business magnate Shalini (Poonam Dhillon).

Cramming in too much distracts Superhero theme

uperhero film 'Ra.One' kicks off on an unusual note, as geeky tech-wiz dad Shekhar Subramaniam, played by Shah Rukh Khan, tries to become his young son's hero by creating the greatest video-game villain of all time. Named Ra.One in a not-so-subtle reference to The Ramayan's Lanka king, this super-villain almost immediately shows signs of breaking out of his virtual world to wreak havoc and destruction in the real one. Yet even as danger is lurking around the corner, Ra.One's creator Shekhar is distractedly working the dance floor with his wife. To me, this moment sums up the entire experience of watching this ambitious but flawed superhero film - every time we're drawn into the simplistic but intriguing story of how Ra.One can only be vanquished by the game's superhero G.One.

He confesses, that only when he decided to get into films, did he realise the importance of being fit. Ranbir who has an athletic build, says, "My work requires me to take good care of my body and the way I look. There are a lot of sacrifices that you have to make for that to happen - from what you eat to disciplining yourself to leading a balanced life." His only complaint is his gruelling work schedule that on many occasions leaves no time for workouts, forcing him to hit the gym at absurd hours like 3 am. "It isn't easy to remain fit. MUMBAI: Now that Saif Ali Khan is crowned as the Nawab of Pataudi, the issue regarding his wedding with Kareena Kapoor is back in focus. Bebo had earlier told media persons that she would tie the knot in 2012, after the release of Saif's home production 'Agent Vinod'. However, due to a delay in the release of the movie, the wedding too is likely to be postponed. However, Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore has confirmed that the wedding is 'definitely on' and that her son is planning to marry Kareena very soon. Saif himself confirmed the news saying, "Kareena and I will definitely get married by early next year. We plan to get married in February 2012 after Agent Vinod releases, but if the film's release gets delayed we will still get married by March." He further added, "We won't postpone the marriage beyond that any more." Speaking about his bride-to-be, he said, "Kareena is a wonderful girl and we are extremely compatible. My family and she have always got along well. We share the same values in life, love each other completely and I want to spend more time with her. I am looking forward to the marriage now." It is learnt that the wedding is likely to be held in the Pataudi Palace. Sources say that the wedding will be a traditional one, attended by the couple's friends and family.

METHOD Heat the oil in a pan; add the onions and sautÈ for a few minutes. Add the French beans, broccoli and green chilli sauce. Stir and add the capsicum and salt. Add the spring onion greens and mix again. Serve hot.
