We faced local market challenges and due to lack of finance, we’re unable to promote widely. And also, we are struggling to tie up with international universities because most of the universities are asking for a minimum of two references, and also first one year, we received a very low number of clients then we are planning to start language classes within our consultancy to cover local school and college students.

Our founder VAIRABALA, after completing his diploma in India went to the UK on a student visa in 2010 and he completed business management level-5 & unable to

complete Level-6 because the college has been closed and he struggled a lot in UK then he came back to India and he plans to start an education consultancy with an aim to stop students struggling and cheated from local agents. Then he started a small business in 2015 and he named that business - E2W STUDY OVERSEAS and registered as a proprietorship in his hometown and a few years later he planned to move to the education hub city of Chennai.

Moved to Chennai in 2018 and then slowly improved our business, finally he managed to register as a private limited company on Jun 2020. Now we have five branches around Tamil Nadu, and we succeeded in more than 2000 international student visas and helped students to achieve their dreams.

■ Talk to your students and school professionals about children’s mental health: In my opinion, this is as important as any conversation in schools, but at the moment it is not given as much time and attention as it should be - not even close. Contact your child’s school to get the ball rolling if necessary!

■ Ask for help! Seriously, don’t be shy: Teachers and other school professionals may not be able to drive home and monitor homework time on their own, but most people will be happy to provide advice and/or resources. They also know your child and can add valuable insights to their needs.

■ Encourage learning outside of school and outside of homework worksheets: Practicing endless/ excessive things will inevitably lead to children feeling frustrated. Revive education for the whole family through fun reading, interesting documentaries, or a trip to the museum or park.

Not all homework is created the same way

Similar to revealing, it seems that grade level has a direct effect on the effectiveness of homework.

In 1989, Cooper’s team at Duke University found that grade levels greatly influenced how much homework contributed to academic progress (as measured by standard and class test scores). Middle and high school students gain a lot through homework. By doing their homework academically. The average high school student performed more than 69% of the students in the class without doing homework. Homework in middle school was about half as effective. In elementary school, the relationship between homework and achievement has a minimum effect. Despite all the research, homework remains a mystery. Until Cooper and other researchers find the best homework practice at each stage of a student’s development, parents will need to use their own best judgment.

Less is often more

If your child is doing his job conscientiously but is still burning the midnight oil, it is advisable to intervene to make sure he gets enough sleep. Recent studies suggest that proper sleep is much more important for brain and body development.

In fact, for elementary school-age children, homework has no measurable educational benefits. For middle-schoolers, if the assignment lasts between one and two hours per night then it can contribute to their achievement. After two hours, however, the achievement does not improve. For high school students, two hours seems best. Like middle-schoolers, give teens more than two hours a night, and give academic success flatlines.

Should You Ban Homework in Your Classroom? If you teach lower grades, that’s possible. If you teach in middle or high school, maybe not. But all teachers should revise their homework policies. To improve learning outcomes for your student you can limit the amount of homework and improve the quality of assignments.

Will India achieve 100% literacy?

India has not yet achieved a 100% literacy rate even after 73 years of independence. The meaning of literacy has become broader as it acknowledges the ability to use language, images, numbers, and other methods to understand and use the main systems of symbols in any culture. Today, literacy also includes the skill of acquiring knowledge through modern technology. Literacy in India is one of the major contributing factors to socioeconomic progress. After the end of British rule in 1947, the Indian literacy rate gradually increased to 74.04% based on the 2011 census. Yet these figures show that India is below the average global literacy rate of 84%.

Kerala is the only state in India that has a 100% literacy rate. States like Sikkim, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, and Goa are other states that follow in this regard. Bihar has the lowest literacy rate in India. It is also important for everyone to understand why the literacy rate in India is low compared to other developed countries. The most compelling reason for this is that India’s population is very large. India is the

7th largest country in its population and the 2nd largest in the world after China. The total population of India is one billion. The number of educational centers and schools is low, especially in rural areas. Many people living in villages are poor and have no idea about the availability of free education for their children. Even if there are schools, they are far away, and the quality of education is very poor. For such poor children, the learning process becomes just a distant dream.

Government New Program

By 2030 the government has set a target of 100% literacy. To achieve this, a new adult education scheme will be launched in August. It will be called the ‘New India Literacy Program’.

An official of the Union Ministry of Education said that the new centrally sponsored scheme on adult education will be implemented during the years 2021-22 to 202526. The program aims to bring 50 million illiterate people in the age group of 15 years and above into the

country through online and offline channels.

Sources said that a review meeting was held with the states on June 24 and 26, 2021 in this regard through a digital medium. It was agreed that after the end of the ‘Read-Write’ campaign in July 2021, the ‘Nav Bharat Literacy Abhiyan’ would be launched in its place with the approval of the competent authority.

Aspects Of The New Program

According to information received from the Ministry, these are the five dimensions of the new adult education program. These include basic literacy and numeracy, knowledge of important life skills, basic education, and vocational skills development. As per the recommendations of the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC), Rs. 1037.90 crore is estimated to be spent. The Centre’s share will be Rs 700 crore and the states’ share will be Rs 337.90 crore.

The plan related to adult education was announced in the budget proposal for the years 2021-22. The meeting,

chaired by the Central Secretary for School Education and Literacy in March, was attended by education secretaries from 35 states / UTs, state project directors, and officials from the state literacy missions. They agreed to implement the scheme in their respective states.

Conclusion

According to the government, the improvement in the literacy rate of the country is forecast to reach 80% during the current year. The Saakshar Bharat Mission, an innovative program, was launched as an initiative to take Indian literacy to new heights. The success of this program will benefit 70 million adults in literacy. The primary purpose of bringing such a program is to strengthen and promote adult education, especially for women. With this initiative, it is predicted that India will achieve full literacy in the second decade.
