Lieutenant Governor’s Greeting

Hey Key Clubbers, how’s your summer so far? Although school doesn’t start until September, we can still hangout and participate in great volunteer events! Many events are being spread by weekly updates and social medias, if you need help finding one you can always contact me! During July we hosted a movie fundraiser and raised $25 dollars for our district projects! I would like to thank all you who participated this fundraiser. Don’t worry if you couldn’t make it this time, we can definitely do it again! In conclusion, I wish everyone is enjoying summer and I can’t wait to see you at our August Divisional! Yours in service, Ruoxin Lin Lieutenant Governor New York District Key Club Division 9 Ruoxinlin.ltg@nydkc.org

Amazing Race

Amazing Race “I enjoyed volunteering at the amazing race. Blending in with the crowd to confuse the participants created the perfect chance to test my awareness, and it also added to the fun.”

Jeadelle Gustave Vice President Edward R. Murrow High School

“It was amusing to watch as people tried to complete the race, they had to take something from one of the volunteers backpacks without them noticing, not everyone succeeded on their first try.”

Erin Tlatelpa President Edward R. Murrow High School

Refresh Block Party

Refresh Block Party “My experience at the Refresh Block Party was beyond my expectations. I was able to connect with members from my very own Brooklyn Tech Key Club but also connect with volunteers from Stuyvesant and other schools. I learned that the concept of the Refresh Block Party was created after the coordinators felt that they didn't want to wait until a disaster hit to make a difference and took imitative and held a yearly block party. Our shift consisted of setting up the tables, chairs, preparing food alongside the Mercy Chefs, and all in all was a great experience.” Winnie Chen Bulletin Editor Brooklyn Technical High School

July Divisional Fundraiser "My first divisional fundraiser and it was a lot of fun! Great company and a lot of great laughs afterwards"

David Jin IP President Brooklyn Technical High School

Raymond Liao Webmaster Midwood High School

“Although we missed the beginning of the movie, the fundraiser was a great bonding experience and I made a new friend!!”

July Divisional Fundraiser "It was a nice experience to be able to connect with other key club members from other schools"

Sharon Li Member Edward R. Murrow High School

Jeraya Kelly Member Midwood High School

“Going to see a movie was a fun and simple way to raise money.”

July Divisional Fundraiser “The movie fundraiser was great, I got to be chill around with great company while watching inside out that got us the feeeeeels”

Andrew Tong Member Edward R. Murrow High School

Evelaine Yee Member Curtis High School

“It was great to know I made a difference by participating in this fundraiser.”
