À l'instar de références comme Sylvia Plath ou Fernando Pessoa, il s'agit de recréer constamment un fausse réalité à partir de la véritable vie. That work as the majority of my photographic work, is about to transform everyday's life and intimacy in fiction. Following the example of Sylvia Plath or Fernando Pessoa, it is creating constantly a fake reality from a very real life.

l y a deux ans, quand j’ai réalisé mon court-métrage “C Comme Couteau”, j’ai rencontré l’artiste CHAT et elle en a signé la musique. Et c'est tout naturellement que deux ans plus tard, la réalisation de son clip fut une évidence. Nos univers se marient bien et la natation synchronisée était quelque chose qui nous plaisait à toutes les deux. Two years ago I directed a short film "C Comme Couteau", I met this artist: CHAT, who did the film's music. So naturally, two years later it was obvious that I would director her video. Our universes get along well and we both liked synchronized swimming.

Comme le monde moderne continue à tourner avec des vitesses toujours plus rapides, l’individu reçoit davantage de sollicitations chaque jour. Aujourd'hui, la personne Occidentale moyenne est soumise à un marathon quotidien pour devenir "plus joli", “meilleur”, "plus riche" et "plus productif", mais elle se sent aussi étouffée par l'absurdité de tout cela. Les autoportraits de cette série explorent le désir d’échapper à l'épuisement comme état permanent, dans un paysage de rêve surréaliste, loin du bruit du monde construit par les hommes.
As the modern world continues to operate at faster speeds, more demands are placed on the individual each day. Today, the average Western person knows very well the marathon one must run to constantly become "prettier", better," "richer," and "more productive," but also feels suffocated within the meaninglessness of it all. The self portraits in this series explore the desire to escape from exhaustion as a permanent state, into a surreal dream landscape, away from the noise of the human made world.

J'aime à penser que mon travail est comme tracer des mirages, la transition entre le monde physique et la réalité imaginée. Là où d'autres artistes travaillent à traduire un réalisme parfait, je m'efforce de poursuivre le chemin bien moins tracé du surréalisme. Je me salis les mains en travaillant sur l’illustration, le street art, sur les murs, la typographie, des paroles de chansons, des tatouages et des dessins graphiques.
I like to think of my work as tracing a mirage, the transition between the physical world and an imagined reality. Where other artists work to perfect realism, I strive to pursue the less well trodden path to surrealism. I get my hands dirty working across illustration, street art, murals, typography, signwriting, tattoo and graphic design.
