If there’s one thing I crave, it’s connection– and I bet you do too. I am passionate about creating spaces of belonging and acceptance that catalyze connection. I see this at Noonday Trunk Shows – women connecting with their own beauty and discovering they are enough. And I see it every time a woman connects with her strength and launches her own business as a Noonday Ambassador. I see that same craving for connection when I travel to visit our artisan business partners across the globe. This summer, 60 Noonday Ambassadors journeyed to Ecuador, Guatemala and Rwanda to connect with the Artisans who create our pieces. Seeing the connections that Noonday is making possible always inspires me to keep dreaming big. On a trip to China and Cambodia in June to explore new partnerships, I witnessed how survivors of sex trafficking are connecting with their God–given power to work, experiencing renewed dignity. When you wear Noonday, you become part of this global story of connection– and get to experience a whole world of style, no matter where you are. Our new Fall collection is inspired by two distinct stories. In these first pages, you’ll discover new styles featuring geometric motifs and bold blocks of color. In collaboration with Artisans around the world, we shaped local, natural materials into these modern, architectural designs. Beginning on page 76, we invite you into a woodland fairytale where you will find softer, more romantic pieces.

U GANDA Jalia and Daniel’s artisan business in Uganda is a testament to the transformative power of long–term collaboration. In partnership with Noonday Collection since 2010, Jalia and Daniel are succeeding in creating a workplace that holistically invests in its employees. What began as two artists seeking to create opportunity for their neighbors has blossomed into a successful business that employs over 300 Artisans. As part of our commitment to our artisan partners, we collaborated with Jalia and Daniel to fund a daycare center for the children of Artisans, as well as a scholarship program that provides quality education for 32 children.

Nearly 1,000 women all across the United States have joined us as Noonday Collection Ambassadors. By selling beautiful jewelry and accessories hand made by Artisans, these women are creating meaningful opportunities for families across the globe. These world–changing women are also giving back to celebrate and support adoptive families in their own communities. We sat down with three Ambassadors on the set of our street style photo shoot to hear how adoption and family preservation have become two of their greatest passions.

RESPONSIBLE FINANCING We offer no–interest loans and advance payments that provide artisan businesses with the cash flow they need to grow sustainably.
RWANDA In 2011, we met a group of 11 women in Rwanda who were struggling to provide for their families. We partnered with women across the United States to send these Rwandan women to sewing school. To enable them to launch their business, we purchased their first sewing machines and offered no–interest loans. Over the last four years, we have provided responsible financing that has empowered them to grow sustainably. Today, these women are proud business owners who are able to provide for their families and give back by creating dignified jobs for more women in their community.

POOJA / India A beautiful testament to the impact of a dignified job, Pooja is proud to say that she supports her children with the work of her own hands. While many women in India are unable to earn an income, Pooja and her coworkers are changing the status of women in India by standing up for their right to work.

Cassie is a Noonday Ambassador whose business has impacted her in countless ways. She is using her earnings to help her family prepare to adopt a child with special needs from Korea. Now a confident storyteller and business owner, she says, “I’m being bold not only for my family but for the mothers around the world working to keeptheir families together.”
ADDISALEM / Ethiopia
As Addisalem speaks, it’s clear that she is becoming a woman confident in her own worth. She once faced a stigma because of her HIV+ status, despite the fact that the disease is as treatable as type 2 diabetes. Today, Addisalem’s work has empowered her to realize that her circumstances do not define her. Now she can see a future full of hope.

ZOE / Uganda Zoe is the daughter of our first artisan partners, Jalia and Daniel. When we first partnered with Jalia and Daniel, they dreamed of giving their children a good education, but could not afford school fees. Today, Noonday provides scholarships that enable Zoe and other Ugandan Artisans’ children to attend schools where they grow, learn and thrive.
GABRIELLE AND SARA / Texas, U.S.A. After adopting her daughter Gabrielle from Uganda, Sara began to dream of how she could empower families in her community to adopt while also addressing the poverty at the root of the orphan crisis. When she discovered Noonday Collection in 2010, she reached out to Jessica and together they developed the Ambassador Opportunity.
JULIETTE AND CENISE / Haiti We are passionate about helping build strong families in vulnerable places like Haiti. As a single father, Cenise used to struggle to support his daughter Juliette on his wages as a security guard. Today, thanks to Noonday’s orders, he leads a team of 10 leatherworkers and earns enough to provide Juliette with the opportunities she deserves.
KOMAL / India With a future as bright as Komal’s, it’s no wonder she can’t stop smiling! While some Indian girls are denied the opportunity to go to school, our Indian partners provide reliable wages that enable families to invest in educations for all of their children. Educated girls like Komal will go on to build a flourishing India where all children are cherished.

PEOPLE HAVE JOBS SITA / Ecuador We partner with three artisan businesses that create dignified jobs in Ecuador. High inflation has left many Ecuadorians without work, but our artisan partners are thriving. In 2014, one of our partner businesses opened a brand new workshop to accommodate Noonday’s growing orders, providing jobs for even more Artisans in their community.
KRISTA / Texas, U.S.A. Through a collaborative partnership, Noonday Ambassadors and artisan partners create meaningful opportunity for one another. Krista became a Noonday Ambassador in 2011. In her words, “we are truly connected. It is because of the Artisans’ work that I was able to bring my adopted son home and supplement my family’s income. Noonday empowers all of us to provide for our families.”
JALIA AND DANIEL / Uganda Since 2010, Jalia and Daniel have grown their business to employ 300 Artisans – and their impact is spreading. Local police recently visited their workshop to share some inspiring news: crime in their community has decreased significantly because of the jobs their business has created. When people have dignified jobs, individuals and communities can truly flourish.

Through partnership with Noonday Collection, Ana has been empowered to create 35 jobs.
