FROM OUR FOUNDER “Traveling—It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” This quote by renowned wanderer Ibn Battuta has always struck me as profoundly true. There’s just something about traveling that never fails to stir up a story inside of us. Inspired by this truth, my team and I packed up our jewels a few months ago and headed to beautiful Antigua, Guatemala to shoot this season’s lookbook. As I share in my book, Imperfect Courage, I lived in Guatemala in my early twenties. In fact, we shot in the very spot I used to pull away to in order to journal, pray, and dream about the future. I dreamed about how I could use the opportunity I had been given to create opportunities for others. And now, here we are, so many of those dreams a reality. In Guatemala alone, Noonday Collection now supports 340 jobs thanks to your partnership!

Upcycled Artillery
Our Ecuadorian accessories are crafted using responsibly harvested local seeds like pambil, acai, and tagua. The Artisans cut, polish, and dye the seeds to make unique, sustainable jewelry.
To create these unique beads, Ethiopian Artisans melt down artillery shells left over from former conflicts. Then, women emerging from vulnerable situations string the beads into elegant accessories.

To make our glass bead accessories, Guatemalan Artisans create their own bead looms using nails and planks of wood. The women enjoy gathering together to string the beads by hand.
