CRAFT GROUPS
Our Drop-In Program Is A Wonderful Resource For Social Activity! We have lots of fun things going on every Monday through Friday when the Senior Center is open. In addition, there are Drop-In Programs that meet regularly at Josephine Commons. All you have to do is drop by and join in! Everyone is welcome! No pre-registration is required for our Drop-In Programs regardless of the location!
KNIT One Pearl Two Instructor Mary Banecks will teach participants how to knit hats using a loom. Making a loom hat is simple and no experience is required. You will be able to make hats for the whole family so come and have some fun. Everything is provided to learn. We donated over 400 hats to the needy last year. Yarn donations are always needed! DROP-IN PROGRAM SPACE We encourage adults to develop their own drop-in activities. There are a number of organized groups in different locations within the City. If you want to start a drop-in activity group and you need a place to meet, call our Recreation Specialist at 303-665-9052 ext. 5. We’ll try to work out space for you at the Senior Center if your group is activity centered, of interest to adults and open to all who want to join. We may not be able to accommodate all requests and we do reserve the right to limit what is offered at our Center. Become part of our family of drop-in classes.
