Boswell sets career‐high for games in a season: Dynamo defender Bobby Boswell played in his 31st regular season game of the season on Sept. 29 vs. New England, surpassing his previous career‐high for games in a season of 30, set in 2006. The 29‐ year‐old has been a mainstay since his 2005 rookie season, appearing in at least 23 games and making 22 starts or more each season. Boswell has averaged 28 games and 27.63 starts per season in his eight‐year career. If Boswell plays Saturday versus Philadelphia, it will be his 225th career regular season game.
Brad Davis, Midfield Maestro: Midfielder Brad Davis recorded his 12th assist of the season on Sept. 29 vs. New England. It is the fourth consecutive season the all‐star midfielder has recorded 12 or more assists in a season. Davis had 16 assists in 2011 (career‐high) and 12 assists in 2010 and 2009. Davis is tied for fourth place in the league in assists, trailing Graham Zusi (15) of Sporting Kansas City.
