Dental trauma is common in children between two and four, when they start to walk and run but are not too steady on their feet. The other group at risk are between eight and twelve, when they become more active. Learn about the different kinds of trauma and their consequences, and how to prevent and treat them.

About the speaker Dr Ng Jing Jing is a member of the Society for Paediatric Dentistry (Singapore) and the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry. She has been with the School Dental Centre for the past five years. She is also a visiting specialist at the National University Hospital Dental Centre and part-time clinical teacher in the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS. Dr Ng graduated from NUS with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2002 and completed her Master in Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) in London in 2007.
