THE GOLF SCRAMBLE In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. In a few groups, we may only have 3 players. That team still gets four tries at each shot. However, rotating players for the fourth shot is required. We may have a player or two that can no longer swing a club due to some physical restrictions, but can still putt. In this case, one of the other three players will rotate the full swing shots and the fourth player will take his/her turn putting. GOLF CART RULES Every course has its own rules for golf carts. They will be posted inside the golf carts Never – no matter what the local rules are – take a cart within 30 yards of the putting green, or within 15 yards of fairway bunkers or water hazards.
GOLF ETIQUETTE Golf etiquette is a set of rules – both written and unwritten – that governs behavior on a golf course. Simply put, golf etiquette is good manners. The rules of golf etiquette are designed to keep golf enjoyable for everyone on the course by making sure that golfers keep moving (preventing the rounds from becoming interminably long) and that everyone remains safe. No alcohol is permitted while you are golfing. DRESS CODE
Appropriate attire should be worn. No cutoffs, swim trunks, tee shirts, or tank tops may be worn. GOLF SHOES
Golf shoes with soft spikes are encouraged, but not required. No metal spikes allowed. Gym shoes may be worn.

THE MULLIGAN In golf, a mulligan is a minor blunder which is allowed to pass unnoticed or without consequence, i.e., a swing at the ball and the ball is missed. We are selling MULLIGAN tickets for $1.00 each or $5.00 for six. The proceeds from the MULLIGAN tickets will go to the scholarship fund.
