HOSPITAL UPDATES PATIENT BED UPDATE As you may know, we have been working on ordering new patient beds for our hospital, and we are pleased to announce that we will be starting a phased ordering process very soon. The first phase will be an order for 60 new beds, and that will be placed the week of July 2nd. The new beds will be delivered 10-12 weeks after the order is placed. After the first phase is complete, we will place orders for additional beds throughout the end of the year. Phase two will add up to equal an additional 50 beds. All of the phase 2 orders will be placed by January 1, 2019.

FLOOR RENOVATIONS ARE COMING! We are extremely excited to announce that we will be renovating interior areas of our hospital with new flooring and paint. The renovations are slated to begin following our Joint Commission Survey visit this year. Interior renovation areas will include the hospital lobby, 3rd floor, 6th floor and 7th floor. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming renovations at FHNP.

EMERGENCY ROOM RENOVATION UPDATE I know many of you have questions about the upcoming Emergency Room renovation for our onsite ER. We are pleased to let everyone know that at this time, we have a target construction date of April 2019. Our leadership team, and Adventist Health System, is fully committed to this 15 million project to improve our Emergency Department to help better serve our community.

HOSPITAL LEASE NEWS You may soon hear out in the community our plans to renegotiate our lease with the City of Tarpon Springs. We want to be a long-term health partner with the city of Tarpon Springs and its surrounding communities. Renegotiating the lease to expand it beyond 2040 would give us nearly a century long commitment with the community and the ability to continue to grow and deliver our unique level of inspired, compassionate care for many years to come.

We hope it was an enjoyable session for all of you. We are now focused on the sustainment of everything we learned, and you will be introduced to various initiatives by your department Director and the leadership team.
