Elektro-, Anlagen- und Betriebstechnik und High Tech Manufacturing – das ist die Formel für unser neues ausbildungsintegriertes Studium, das wir gemeinsam mit Siemens Mobility Austria für den Start im Herbst 2021 entwickelt haben. Mit diesem Angebot können Interessierte die Facharbeiter*innenIntensivausbildung bei Siemens Mobility absolvieren, studiert wird an der FH Campus Wien. Die Theorie behandelt das Studium High Tech Manufacturing, in der Lehrwerkstatt von Siemens Mobility Austria wird das Gelernte in der Praxis umgesetzt. Mit dieser besonderen Form der Ausbildung haben die Absolvent*innen gleich zwei Abschlüsse in der Tasche: den Bachelor of Science in Engineering und die/den Facharbeiter*in im Lehrberuf Elektro-, Anlagen- und Betriebstechnik.

Studium oder Lehre? Theorie oder Praxis? Am besten beides, gilt auch für die Kooperation mit Siemens AG Österreich. In diesem zweiten ausbildungsintegrierten Studium ist es das berufsbegleitende Bachelorstudium Computer Science and Digital Communications, das mit einer Mechatronik-Ausbildung kombiniert wird. Das Angebot richtet sich an Maturant*innen, die sich für Digitalisierung, Automatisierung und für die neuesten Innovationen und Technologien interessieren. Es startet ebenfalls im Wintersemester 2021/22 und schließt auch mit einem Bachelor of Science in Engineering ab. Das Studium vermittelt aktuelles Wissen im Bereich Informatik und digitale Kommunikation und sichert einen guten Start ins Berufsleben. Gleichzeitig ermöglicht das Bachelorstudium eine anschließende Ausbildung auf Masterniveau, die man berufsbegleitend absolvieren kann.

Electrical, plant and industrial engineering and High Tech Manufacturing, that is the formula for our new trainingintegrated course that we developed together with Siemens Mobility Austria and will launch in autumn 2021. With this offer, those interested can complete the intensive training for skilled workers at Siemens Mobility. The courses are held at FH Campus Wien. Theory is acquired in the degree program High Tech Manufacturing and what has been learned is put into practice in the Siemens Mobility Austria training workshop. With this special form of training, the graduates go home with two certificates in their pockets: a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a skilled worker certificate in the trade of electrical engineering, systems and industrial engineering.

Degree program or apprenticeship? Theory or practice? Ideally both! This is exactly the case for the cooperation with Siemens AG Austria. In this second training-integrated course, it is the part-time Bachelor’s Degree Program Computer Science and Digital Communications that is combined with a mechatronics course. The offer is aimed at secondary school graduates with a university entrance qualification who are interested in digitization, automation and the latest innovations and technologies. The program is also starting in the winter semester 2021/22 and also ends with a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering. The degree program imparts the latest knowledge in the field of computer science and digital communication and ensures a good start in a professional life. At the same time, the bachelor’s degree enables subsequent training at a master’s level, which can be completed part-time while working.

Bestes Beispiel für einen länderübergreifenden Wissensaufbau zu funktionaler Sicherheit (Functional Safety) für das autonome und hochautomatisierte Fahren ist der akademische Lehrgang Functional Safety for Automotive ISO 26262. Das Weiterbildungsangebot war eine spezielle Entwicklung des Kompetenzzentrums Vienna Institute for Safety and Systems Engineering (VISSE) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem international tätigen Unternehmen TTTech Auto. Start war im Herbst 2020 mit den ersten 24 Teilnehmer*innen aus, Deutschland, Österreich, Serbien, Spanien und der Türkei. Diese schlossen den Lehrgang trotz Pandemie und Lockdowns wie geplant zum Ende des Sommersemesters 2021 als „Academic Safety Engineers“ ab.

TeLo GmbH, Spezialist für technisches Recht in der Maschinen- und Anlagensicherheit und langjähriger Kooperationspartner des Kompetenzzentrums VISSE, etablierte den Fachbereich Safety and Systems Engineering in seiner Organisation und baut nun ein Expert*innen-Netzwerk für dieses stark expandierende Feld auf. The best example of a transnational build-up of knowledge on functional safety for autonomous and highly automated driving is the Academic Course Functional Safety for Automotive ISO 26262. The further training offer was a special development of the Competence Center of the Vienna Institute for Safety and Systems Engineering (VISSE) in cooperation with the international company TTTech Auto. Ganz im Zeichen von vielfältigen Ausbildungsfeldern und der umfassenden Handlungskompetenz von Fachkräften in unterschiedlichen Pflegeberufen, die täglich für andere da sind und mit enormem Einsatz andere professionell pflegen, stand der 1. Wiener Tag der Pflege am 25. September 2020. Geladen hatte der Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW), um die Pflegekräfte zu ehren und auch die Vielfalt und die hohen Ansprüche an Pflegeberufe hervorzuheben. Künftig steigen die Bedeutung und der Bedarf an Pflege aufgrund der demografischen Entwicklung deutlich. Diesem Bedarf trägt der strategische Zusammenschluss des FSW, des Wiener Gesundheitsverbunds und der FH Campus Wien im Projekt „Pflege Zukunft Wien“ mit einer Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege-Ausbildungsinitiative Rechnung.

Die österreichische Bundeshauptstadt ist bekannt für ihr hervorragendes City Management und „role model“ für viele andere Metropolen. Als Standort mehrerer internationaler Organisationen und diplomatischer Vertretungen verfügt Wien zudem über eine langjährige Tradition als politische und politiknahe Drehscheibe im globalen Gefüge. Deshalb haben die Stadt Wien und der Fachbereich Angewandte Politikwissenschaft den Masterlehrgang International Relations and Urban Policy entwickelt. Die Teilnehmer*innen des im Herbst 2021 startenden Studiums kommen aus europäischen Partnerstädten der Stadt Wien. technological high-end tasks in the field of safety and systems engineering as well as functional safety. The 1st Vienna Day of Care on September 25th, 2020 was all about the diverse training fields and the comprehensive competence of specialists in different care professions, who are there for others every day and care for others professionally with enormous commitment. The Vienna Social Fund (FSW) held the event to honor the nursing staff and also to illustrate the diversity and high demands on nursing professions. In the future, the importance and the need for care will increase significantly due to demographic developments. The strategic merger of FSW, the Vienna Health Association and FH Campus Wien in the project "Pflege Zukunft Wien" (Future Care Vienna) takes this need into account with a health care and nursing training initiative.

The Austrian capital is known for its excellent city management and serves as a “role model” for many other metropolises. As the home for several international organizations and diplomatic missions, Vienna also has a long-standing tradition as a political and policy-making hub in the global structure. That is why the City of Vienna and the Section of Applied Political Science have developed the Master's Course International Relations and Urban Policy. The participants in the course, which will start in autumn 2021, come from European partner cities of the City of Vienna.
