From Dinosaur to Digital Rock Star The last time I got excited was when I noticed in the news flow some changes that have taken place in the traditional banking sector. Could the world do without banks? Examples of changes are visible everywhere. Estonia is considering legalizing Uber by formulating rules for carpooling services. Traveling broadens your horizons, and today you can find the most authentic cultural experiences by taking lodgings at someone’s house, by swapping homes or by renting a dwelling or couch. The conventional text message may be the most distinguishable means of marketing – but the fact is that texting is hardly used for anything else any more. You can find a new employee or life companion by calling around the network or by opening an application designed for such purposes. Help is available anytime, anywhere. The conventional CV is dull, whereas a video shows and tells what is at stake. The change in visual culture effectively boosts egos and brands, awareness and ideas. Classic porn magazines are a part of history, and the market for erotic peep shows has moved online already a long time ago. And the application you’re using right now is already outdated, whew! Bruce Oreck served as the United States Ambassador to Finland from 2009 until 2015. Prior to his work at the State Department, Oreck practised law specializing in Business and Taxation and represented many of the top 100 companies in the United States. Swedish Milad Mohammadi has been able to turn being different into a great career. Inspired by his social studies teacher at the age of 16, he decided to become exemplary when he grows up. After graduating from high school, he was admitted to law school, and later ended up carrying out two academic degrees. Today, he is one of Sweden’s most popular speakers specializing in education and integration. He is a role model for young students and his goal is to promote equal opportunities for everyone when it comes to education. His latest project is to open a new junior high school in Sweden, in the fall of 2016. The objectives of the new school are consistent with the changes education is undergoing globally: Mohammadi’s strategy is to undertake project-based learning in an environment that assesses individual capabilities simultaneously with collaborative initiatives.

The meaning of encounters After the keynote speeches, we will have the Happy Hour Talks as this time of the day is meant for relaxation, fun and future inspiration. As the stage turns into a relaxed lounge bar lead by ceremony master Laura Schwartz, the floor will be taken by one of the first ladies in the gaming industry, Blanca Juti, who is also an anthropologist, business specialist and author. She will go through the meaning of encounters, together with artist, dancer and event specialist Marco Acerbi, who is also known as the organizer of the Milano Expo Cirque du Soleil production. Also ceremony master, performing artist Reuben Kaye and Ville Tolvanen will join the Happy Hour Talks about live event and face-to-face time importance. Tolvanen is the founder of The Finnish Digitalist Network, an online community that shares ideas and has the goal to digitalize Finland pixel by pixel.
