Brief A personal brief to explore a previous live brief. During the summer I was asked by an African consultancy firm to create a logo for them and create printed collateral for them. As usual they liked something different to me so as a personal project I wanted to just carry on exploring the logo I preferred.
Logo This logotype uses futurist fixed-width. Due to the width of the kerning being set I found that I needed to carefully typeset each letter to fit to ensure it didn’t look too spaced out.

Further Variations The clients main consideration was that the logoshape had some reference to Africa in it. I liked the simplicity and completeness of having a line creating the shape which I could then manipulate by creating further shapes and textures within a basic shape.
