The Baylor Club will host the fifth annual Birthday Bash Charity Gala. Open to the public, the Baylor Club invites the Waco community to join in a festive night of giving and celebration! Fuzzy Friends Rescue is one of the chosen beneficiaries this year. The event will feature a three-course seated dinner, beverages, dancing, live entertainment from Cap City Band and a few surprises! A great way to help homeless animals in our community. Tickets are $100 per person, $150 per couple, or $1,500 per table and are on sale now. Newcomers & Neighbors Club of Waco
The ladies organization of Newcomers and Neighbors of Waco invites any and all women of the Central Texas area to join us on August 21st at 11:30 for lunch at the Ridgewood Country Club. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Cost for lunch is $25.00, payable by cash or check. Our guest entertainer is Bridgett Huffhines. She has been entertaining in Gospel and Country music for the past 25 years throughout the U.S. She has been impersonating Patsy Cline for the last 15 years local and abroad. Bridgett owns two businesses at the Natural Health Center. She is a Specialist in Advanced Biofeedback and helps people stay out of pain naturally and educates her clients on keeping stress levels manageable. She also is a Certified Clinical Thermologist and oversees Medical Thermographic Imaging. Reservations are due no later than 5:30 p.m. on August 15th.
