Bowles Notes: Left-handed slap hitter who will compete for spot in outfield … has had 37 starts in her first two seasons … may be used as a defensive substitute late in games … brings speed and versatility to offensive lineup ... absolutely loves running the bases.

Elliott Notes: Will be a primary backup for each spot in the Ute infield … may also pinch hit or serve as designated player … aggressive hitter with home run power … accomplished player from Salt Lake Community College, helping the Bruins to a 61-5 record in 2010 ... only struck out 13 times last year with the Bruins ... first-team all-state and region selection in 2009 at Spanish Fork High School.

2011: Made 44 appearances with 23 starts, mainly in left field … had five two-hit games … drove in a career-high four runs and hit a double against Northern Colorado (4/2) … went 2-for-2 at the plate, including a double, and scored a run against Hampton (3/19) … had four hits in six at-bats during doubleheader against Boise State (3/30) … was 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the first game against the Broncos, then went 2-for-3 again with an RBI and a double in the second game … knocked in a run and had two hits in three at-bats in 3-2 win at San Diego State (4/14) … had two hits in two plate appearances and scored a run at Utah State (4/26) … cracked a double in second game of doubleheader against Southern Utah (3/9) … Spring 2011 Academic All-MWC selection. 2010: Appeared in 37 games with 14 starts, mostly in right field … scored seven runs and had four hits … drew three walks … stole two bases … credited with 14 putouts and an assist in the field … came up with first career hit, a single, and also drew a walk against Oklahoma (3/13) … scored first career run as a pinch runner in season opener against Northern Colorado (2/12) … hit a triple at Weber State (4/2), her first career extra-base hit … had a hit and an assist from her right-field spot at San Diego State (5/8) … laid down two sacrifice bunts.

High School/Travel Ball: Helped the Utah Pegasus Traveling team win the state title and place fifth at the U18 nationals while losing only four games last summer ... consistently hit over .450 during club career ... lettered all years at Riverton High School ... hit over .450 during her senior year and had seven assists from right field … hit .495 with 49 hits and put together a 25-game hit streak during junior season ... played right field and threw out seven runners at first base ... two-time first-team all-state and first-team all-region selection … named to senior all-star team … earned Deseret News Athlete of the Week … helped Riverton finish third in state as a junior ... during her sophomore year, hit .457 with 34 hits and was a second-team all-region selection while helping Riverton finish fourth in state ... stole 12 bases during freshman season … honor roll student at Riverton High School who maintained a 3.8 GPA while taking Honors and AP classes.
