Think On These Things By Reverend Juanita G. Wingo

In

All these things are against me. ~Genesis 42:36 How easy it is for us to be discouraged and discomforted in our situations. We stop waiting. We stop hoping. Some of us get so distressed that we stop living. We get impatient. We get tired of waiting on God. We think our prayers are not being answered. We think our needs are not being tended to. We think we’re not moving. We think we’ve missed the mark. We think we’ve been left behind. Based on what we see, we’re no further along now that when we started this Christian walk. As a matter of fact, things appear to be getting worse. But we are called to walk by faith and not by sight and to live by what we know rather than what we see. Moving towards the Promised Land is not all it is cracked up to be. We’re out of Egypt but we end up in the wilderness. New enemies show up and we struggle to live to fight another day. We know the Hand of God is leading us, but where? And when will we get there? Shouldn’t we be a little further along by now? We face obstacles, challenges, distractions and path-blocking mountains every day. We ask why we are here. Even more of us ask why we are still here. We struggle and scratch to get out of whatever we are in. We cry like Joseph, “All these things are against me.” But it was in these things that God was working for Jacob – to bring good out of his situation, to bring the blessing out of his predicament. No matter how dark things get, God is working for you in the darkness. It doesn’t matter what you are in, God is working for you in it. Ultimately, what can we say to these things? What can you say when you are in deep debt, in a difficult relationship, in a job that challenges your peace, in distress, in danger or in waiting? How do we address the reality of these things? We address them by remembering: In all these things we are more than conquerors.

27 NEW TESTAMENT BOOKS By Minister Tyrone

There are 27 New Testament books on which our faith we build; In Matthew we see the gospel good news of Jesus as the prophets “Fulfilled”; In Mark we see the gospel from the “Beginning” much shorter in how it’s constructed; In Luke we see the gospel “That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed”; In John we see the gospel by disciple “Testimony”; In Acts we see apostles in Holy Ghost “Ministry”; In Romans we see “No difference between the Jew and the Greek”; In First Corinthians we see “Carnal” envying, strife, and divisions peak; In Second Corinthians we see “Proof” who will obey; In Galatians we see the “Schoolmaster” law versus faith; In Ephesians we see “Armour of God” worn well; In Philippians we see “Defense of the gospel”; In Colossians we see faith “Heard”; In First Thessalonians we see “Comfort” by word;

Sharing Skills, Success and Strategies with Rochelle Arnold-Simmons Founder and President of Strategies To Glory LLC

POWER: It is an honor and pleasure to meet with you Ms. Arnold-Simmons could you please tell us, what is Strategies To Glory. Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: We are a Ministry Consulting Firm who meets with Pastors, church administrations and leaders to help get aliened and focused for order and growth to do successful ministry with Godly principles. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve” Mark 10:45.

POWER: What have been some of the main challenges in the African American Church? Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: A decline of professional available knowledge. (Hosea 4: 6 My people perish from a lack of knowledge) POWER: Given a form of advice for free, where should a new church or failing church start at being successful?

POWER: What is STG’s mission?

Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: Successful and hands on meetings.

Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: To grow the Body of Christ.

POWER: Most people hate meetings, why do you think this is important?

POWER: What makes STG unique?

Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: Meetings get people grounded, focused and build firm foundations.

Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: We are unique because we look at the whole overall system that’s in place to see what’s happening within and how we can effectively impact the system. POWER: What is your experience and background? Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: I have over 20 years in Corporate America , studied Business Management and Marketing at Hampton University. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Organizational Development at American University in Washington, DC. POWER: How can STG be helpful and successful in this troubling economy? Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: My services are available to help lighten the load of the Pastor and get the church moving into a positive functioning capacity to do effective ministry. We also look into using creative and available resources that are sometimes overlooked within the church and community. We also look at ways to create consistent growth. We understand thoroughly only the Lord can help position the church for growth we can’t guarantee this but we assist as most needed.

POWER: Are you available for businesses? Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: If there is need to grow and get organized I am. POWER: What does the future hold for STG? Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: Prayerfully to satellite this business throughout the country and utilize my services to larger groups and conferences. POWER: Please give us your best advice, that you would want to get out and share, that is often overlooked. Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: That change is good and often needed to survive. POWER: Who has been most instrumental and effective to you in helping you accomplishing this dream? Rochelle Arnold -Simmons: The encouragement from my pastor Bishop Walter Scott Thomas and his anointed consistent leadership.
